Puncture Repair
If your tyre is repairable, our puncture repair service will fix your tyre to New Zealand safety standards.
Most punctures and flat tyres can be repaired, providing the damage is confined to the tread.
Tyres can’t be repaired if:
The puncture is due to sidewall damage, the puncture is in the shoulder or if the puncture has worn below the minimum tread depth.
In these cases, the tyre will require a vulcanised tyre repair, which we can arrange for you.
If your tyre is damaged and irreparable, we can supply and fit a replacement tyre to suit your budget.
Tyre Pressure Check
Tyres slowly lose pressure over time, so it’s important to have them checked them regularly. Under-inflated (or over-inflated) tyres deteriorate more quickly and don't handle as well when you're driving.
Most motorist are not aware that a 10% loss of pressure equates to 10% loss of tread wear!
Checking and maintaining inflation pressure is easy and it's free. We offer free pressure checks in store. It only takes a couple of minutes, and is a good habit to get into. Having the correct pressure will help you use less fuel, be safer on the road - and your tyres will last longer.
Wheel Alignment
If you notice uneven tyre wear (usually on the outside edge of one of the tyres), your car is pulling to one side, your vehicle is using more fuel than it used to, or your car seems to fight against the steering then you may need a wheel alignment.
If you suspect your wheels are out of alignment bring your vehicle in for a check.
A wheel alignment will reduce tyre wear, fuel consumption and ensure that your vehicle travel is straight and true.
Tyre Rotation
Front and rear tyres perform different jobs so they usually wear at different rates. As part of your vehicle maintenance schedule, bring your vehicle to us for inspection. If required, our team can carry out a professional rotation to improve the life expectancy and performance of your tyres.
Wheel Balancing
Wheel balancing is essential to promote even tyre wear and reduce vibration. Ask us to complete a wheel balance at the same time you see us for a tyre rotation service.
